Should I donate to DU ? (Poll without choice)

Hello everybody,

I'am a member since 2001, September or October. After these shocking attacks, I wanted to know how (us)americans think about the world, and I wanted to know what you really think and feel. I'am European, german-south-african (RSA-english/dutch) - polish - hungary - czech, a little bit of everything. And surprisingly, I'am falling in love with this board. (And yes, I'am a poll-junkie)

In Europe, especially Germany, the most people fight each other in political boards. When I come to DU, everybody says "hello", "welcome" and things like that. Even, when they don't understand one word of my bad english. ;) But that's not all. Here are so many political different people, in every board in Europe I know, they would kill each other (verbally). Here I see really a difference. It's not much, but a remarkable difference. I don't know how to say? Respect?
I'am reading now almost 3 years, writing not much because of my bad english. I've studied nothing, left school with sixteen and I'am a poor man. I'am a writer (writing novels), but without commercial achievement and my girlfried is the earning part of our relationship. No, I don't need comments on this issue. A little bit like John Kerry ;) *g*, she's the one with money.

But now, here are my questions:

1- Should I donate to DU?
2- Do I have to donate to DU?
3- Should I kill myself, cause I'am not thinking about this issue so
far?
4- Should I forget it, cause yor're 5.000 Miles away?
5- Is this not my problem, cause I've got no money and many European
activists need my money much more?
6- Ever heard of attac?

Don't worry about imperfect English; ours isn't too great either most of the time. Donate if you can but don't worry about it. If you want to make polls, just whine about needing a star and not being able to afford to donate and some angel will probably donate in your name. Anyway, sorry that I wasn't able to come up with a funny reply. It's late here and my brain is starting to slide out of my head.

(Oh by the way, my vote would be for you to donate, but don't worry if the amount is small.)
