Child-free restaurants? How about a child-free country?!?!
Edited on Mon Jan-12-09 12:12 PM by Rabrrrrrr
That would rock!

Application can be made to the country once a person becomes age 18, and can remain a citizen so long as one remains childless. It would be a country devoted to work, leisure, the arts, and all those things that make being an adult so much fun and wonderful.

It would be a small country, but a very nice country.

No dogs, either.

2. Define childless
Edited on Mon Jan-12-09 12:14 PM by DS1
Is that "never having your DNA spread" or "having your DNA spread but sending the results through a woodchipper" because the net result is the same either way.

11. Childless meaning to be without any dependents age 17 or younger
So, an older couple whose offspring are adults would also be eligible.

15. I loved that movie.
Part of me really wants to see the remake work out, but I just know they'll screw it up.
"Logan's Run": This is a remake that can't seem to find sanctuary even after a decade of attempts. A few years ago, Bryan Singer ("The X-Men," "The Usual Suspects") was all set to re-imagine the 1976 movie about a society where everyone submits to state-ordered execution parlors on their 21st birthday or gets hunted down by agents called Sandmen. Singer dropped out to make "Superman Returns," though, and now producer Joel Silver ("The Matrix" films) appears intent to regenerate with a newcomer as director, namely Joseph Kosinski, who has made his name in commercials.

21. It would certainly make working in a grocery store more palatable
And since all my offspring are over 18, my family is in good shape (we'd have to ship the grandkids off somewhere but think of the money I'd save on Christmas gifts!).

You have my support. :patriot:

Lowest birth rate in the industrialized world.

Maybe they're worried about the kids breaking things. Have you seen Rome? Very fragile and crumbly...
