I hope you all had a good start into the year 2009. I got my move behind me, am back to work since today. My hands are so glad to just type on the keyboard :) We found out I have parquet instead of laminate, so we decided to renew it. That was 2 1/2 days of work. Of course we painted too. Last Thursday the movers came. It took them two tours to take all my stuff to the condo. I will post pics of my new place in the next days.
Oh and I flirted with the boss of the movers .... it might turn out to become a date. :D

All is getting better in Malta land.

My brother is out of ICU as of late Saturday night (he had a seizure) and is slowly recuperating.

We have lots of snow and crazy cold weather - they say it is going to be below 0F at night all week :scared:

We have f*cking cold weather here too. I picked the coldest winter in decades to move :eyes:
We had temps as cold as 0F last week. It is supposed to get "warmer" in the coming weeks. Temps in the 40s are to be expected.

Good to see you. Glad to hear that you're well moved in, although I know there's more work to do. I moved last March and I'm still ecstatic about my new place, so I'm confident that you'll be happy too.

Yes, I lived with boxes in my place for about a week and a half. Just take your time, no rush to put things away immediately. Savor each step.
