TCM Remembers - 2008
For all of you who don't get Turner Classic Movies.

Their memorial tribute to all those in the film industry who passed away last year. Way better than the Oscar memorial.

Nice photography and music; God Only Knows by Joe Henry.

2. Wow something watchable on TCM?
Yes I know, they from time to time put on a good 70's movie but for the most part they play dull boring black and white third rung movies from the 50's

4. Gee, Abby Mann
I took a course in appeals from Mark Lane - he of the conspiracy theories - and he once brought in Abby Mann, a screenwriter, to show us how to write briefs that were readable. A very clever, innovative approach to a moribund part of legal training. It was terrific. Mann was terrific.

He did good.
