2. I voted sock, sock, shoe, shoe....
but then I realized that you weren't necessarily talking about how we put them ON. If you were talking about how they come OFF, well....

5. I actively avoid places I can't be barefoot.
If I do have to wear shoes (like at work) It's sock, boot, sock, boot. Sometimes I'll just wear slippers.

17. Shockingly people don't question it.
Edited on Fri Jan-02-09 04:30 PM by Chan790
At least not indoors. Other people wear pajama pants.

I wouldn't want to work a production outside in them though. It's a field where a workday can be 14-18 hours...or 5. Sometimes it's 5PM to 3AM if you're shooting night-scenes. You dress for comfort and nobody cares as long as you look presentable. The joke is you can wear whatever you want provided you wear it with a polo shirt.

Edit: Something like this:

11. Normally option #2
But I like to mix it up sometimes and go for #1.

My brother-in-law say it should always be sock, sock, shoe, shoe in case you are interrupted and have to leave in a hurry, you don't want to be walking around with one foot in a sock and shoe and the other foot bare.

16. Who, McCain?
I went with the all-inclusive "don't wear shoes" because I didn't have enough space for flip flops/boots/sandals/etc.

15. Sock Sock Shoe Shoe
Which reminds me of an old 'All in the Family' episode with Archie and Meathead arguing over this very topic.

Given my druthers, I'd never wear shoes.

23. Indoors I do sock, sock, shoe, shoe, but when I am getting dressed in a parkinglot--
after kakyaking of course it is sock, shoe, sock, shoe. Otherwise your socks get really dirty.

And of course I think about that episode of All in the Family whenever I put my shoes on like that!

29. You completely fucking left out
chasing the dog down the hall for the sock and/or the shoe.

Perhaps I should ask her which is first.

I'll get back to you on that, but cannot respond to the poll as posted.

34. mostly barefoot
or flip flops, but when forced to do shoes and socks I don't have a real preference and do both 1 and 2. I will have to watch more closely - I suspect tighter pants may play a roll in the choice.

Nylons? Not since 1982, I am pretty sure :puke: :scared:
