It was hot in Houston today, it is December and I want some cold air.
I went to the mall in shorts, now that is not right.

It is almost the 21st.

1. I don't know...
As I recall Christmases past in the mid-1970s here, shorts and short sleeves on Christmas Day! It was great! :D

2. I remember warm Christmas days.
I like a little cold weather for the big Yule gathering in the hill country I am going to.

I am leaving in the morning to help get ready.

Nothing like a cold night for a good hay ride.

4. I can take heat in the summer and even the spring and fall.
What makes it worse is we get these cold fronts that only last a few days.

After that even 75 feels hot.

After Ike I am ready for some cooler weather.

6. sweating while xmas shopping doesn't make me happy
was very warm in Dallas today too. Short sleeves and windows down, It was actually a beautiful day.... just not for December. As you said, it is not right. I like some cold air too. I require a thorough cool down after our oppressive Texas summers.

11. We are getting some kind of Arctic blast Sunday.
It not supposed to get out of the 40s here in Corpus Monday. I bet it will be colder there. I am driving up and flying out of Houston that day. I hope the rough weather is gone by then.

15. In one day it goes from cold to warm to wet and gross
This was Tuesday I think. In San Antonio. I like december because I get to turn the AC off and it cuts like $150 off my electric bill but we got all these warm days.
