1. Of course.
The big rig lacks the mandatory mud flap accoutrement: silver silhouettes of large-breasted, naked, sitting women.

That and the fact that it's a one-lane road, and the driver taking the picture didn't capture the oncoming companion to above big rig.

3. Looks like it's hauling mining equipment
You're trying to pass it.

So yes, there's something wrong if there's a mining truck going at or below the speed limit. :P

6. I passed it first and then thought WTF?
Pulled over to let it go by so I could get a pic. I don't think it is mining equipment.

5. well, they looked pretty new. Truck is heading east on I-10 and this was taken in SE Arizona.
I agree, I think they are heading somewhere to be used. Still something wrong here, to me.

13. Railroad wheels frequently develop defects that make them ...
unusable or unsafe, or potentially damaging to tracks. They wheels are changed out at hundreds of locations across the country and are returned to shops via rail or truck. At the repair shops the wheels can be replaced on the axles or can be resurfaced on a giant lathe that cuts both wheels simultaneously.

On top of that, it looks like the only thing holding them on the back is that pitiful looking splintered 4x4.
