Wow. Just wow. $80 million just in legal fees.

Reading the Wall Street Journal, and there's an article about the Robertson family's lawsuit against Princeton University because Princeton apparently hasn't used the family's endowment donation properly.

The Robertsons are the heirs of the A&P fortune. The gift was given in 1961 at $35 million, and is now worth about $700-900 million. The family sued to pull the entire endowment out of Princeton, and after $40 million spent by EACH side in the battle, the family agreed to a $100 million payoff and a few other movements of some of the endowment money that will go to fund endowments and gifts for other schools.

$80 million in legal fees.

I am fucking stunned.
