We have a Winter Weather Advisory! First of the season! Cool!
But my faves are snow advisories. I don't remember ever seeing a snow advisory in Iowa. Snow Advisories mean it's going to snow. Not a lot. Not with accompanying wind and drifting. Just snow. I'm guessing we didn't have these in Iowa because late November to early April would be just one long snow advisory.

But I digress. We have a Winter Weather Advisory.

1. Here in Texas, when you get a Winter Weather Advisory, it means...
ICE

2. They're saying this will start out as a wintry mix and then become snow
with an accumulation of 2-4 inches.

3. Please send it north and east!
November and December are miserable-looking brown, dreary months with no snowfall. :(

4. I would rather have no snow than too much like we had last year.
Every snow storm was a foot or more in snow and I remember getting dumped on at least two times a week for several weeks I think in February. We shoveled our roof three times. The banks got so high that we couldn't shovel the snow up any higher and we had to move the snow across the street. I really hope that we don't have that kind of winter this year especially since I'm pregnant. Shoveling sucks!
