finallyfast.com
who here has tried it? Is it a scam? I have seen the ads, I am downloading the scan program, I think, right now. They haven't asked for any credit card numbers yet.

Does it work?

9. Here's a useful rule to live by:
If a commercial is full of grossly substandard dialogue (even by the standards of today's ads) and people you'd like to slap the crap out of for no real reason (I speak here of that jerkoff in the blue striped shirt who says the first and last words in the ad), the product sucks.

Think about it - the jerkoff I describe in parentheses was the top choice to advertise that product. That should speak volumes.

11. Don't do it.
It might not be a scam per se, but I don't think you need anything like this. Download a program like Crap Cleaner and a registry cleaner. I have used Registry Mechanic for years. That plus a good virus protection program like AVG and you are set.

13. Agreed. Plus I just checked something.
Firefox has a nifty 'Web of Trust' add-on which I hadn't put on my Linux install until just a minute ago. They got this site on red ... STAY AWAY!

12. Too many ads are too good to be true these days.
The program is try-to-get-you-to-buyware... yes it is a free download. But once installed, it scans your system and finds "problems", some of which aren't really problems at all. They then say "we can fix for $XX... pay up to get fixed!"

It does work to some extent, but not the best, and you can get better for free.

Other people say Use CCleaner - I say I agree.

14. I am going to try ccleaner,
thanks to all that responded.

I usually don't get sucked into commercial things, but the way those guys computers got suddenly fast....

and mine is sooooooo slow. Of course, I have dialup, so what can I expect?

17. Nothing will speed up a dial up connection really
but if programs are running slow and/or your mouse is not responsive and the like, a good registry clean and malware clean are probably in order. Crap Cleaner will help.

Never trust a company whose ads show Windows XP green screened on a computers that are obviously Macs.

18. I never noticed that. That is hilarious.
But of course the acting is what kills me. Horrible! And the make-up artist on the set for this commercial is awful. Two of the men really have the make-up caked on.
