Well, I voted yesterday...
Edited on Sat Oct-25-08 04:13 PM by KC2
The early voting line wasn't too long around 4:30 p.m. But by the time we were finished, around 5 o'clock, the line was pretty long. It's good to see a large turnout.

The whole thing just felt good. :-)

Does it bother anybody else to see McCain/Palin bumper stickers, in blue no doubt, around their neighborhoods? I have the most difficult time not giving the ole middle finger to each and every one of them... but I have to be civil. After all, they are my neighbors. Oh, that reminds me, I'm out of windshield washer fluid. lol ;-)

4. We voted Tuesday.
It did feel good, for what it's worth here. I have one of 3 Obama signs in my yard, compared to the 3 McCain signs down my street. My son's working in Ghana, and he has a mail in ballot sent to him. We'll see how that works out. The first time he voted was in the 2000 election, and he still is pissed off about that. :hi:

6. Hi mwdem!!
How are you?!

I can't believe, in our neighborhood, someone decorated their yard with a "McPain" in a lawn chair and about 6 McCain/Palin signs...ugh! I was going to take a photograph of it, but didn't want to accidentally flatter the morans. Sigh.

10. That's a long way to go for a good cut! lol
I only know of one good stylist (for a really good cut), and she is in N. Dallas, unfortunately costing way too much in gas to go there anymore. :-(

Ok... if I have time tomorrow I might take pics and post any that turn out. :hi:

11. "McPain" in a lawn chair ? Well...
Halloween is next week so it's normal to decorate your yard with evil monsters don't you think? :)

7. I voted today...
...and the line was long but ran really smooth. While in line, I was looking at my fellow voters. Some of them were pissed off looking, but the majority were in great spirts. I'm taking that as a good sign.

I am a happy Liberal Texan.

On the bumper sticker thing, in 2004 all you could see around here was GWB stickers. Almost no McLame stickers this year.

Cheers!

9. Cheers!
True enough... not a lot of McCain stickers compared to "W" ones in '04. That is some small satisfaction. :hi:

12. Voted yesterday morning.
Took about 15 minutes. About 20% of registered votes voted early so far.
