1. The price of the original "white" MacBook is now down to $999

That's a price reduction in my book.

The features of the new MacBook justify the prices, the LED backlight alone is a great feature, not to mention the new manufacturing technique for the aluminum body.

Am I a Mac fanboy? No, but I am a Mac user and one of the new machines will probably be finding its way home soon.

3. Yeah, um, that's on it's way out. They still have it on their store...

but it's not even listed on the MacBook page anymore. If you look at the specs of that laptop, you'll find you can get the same hardware in a bargain PC laptop about $400 cheaper.

And it's not Mac OS, either. That doesn't cost that much to develop. Apple has high margin hardware which means, unnecessarily expensive hardware. If Apple had to sell Mac OS by itself, I doubt many would buy their crappy overpriced hardware.

And I still want an Apple, I just don't want to have to pay for something that is simply not worth its price.
