1. Congrats on the stove!
You should save serious money this winter with that. What's two tons of pellets cost and how long does it last?

4. The pellets cost $$$ because it's late
$580 for two tons -- next year, we'll buy them in June and they'll be able $350 or so. They should last us all winter. We figure teh stove will pay for itself by next mid-winter.

2. Ours should be installed in a month. Found a local pellet maker,
investigating prices.

Enjoy it!

8. I have a co-worker who heats his house with a pellet stove
and it has never failed him. He originally had electric baseboard heaters which sucked electricity like there was no tomorrow. He cut his winter bills to 1/3rd what they were using only electric heat. His payback was a little longer than yours, but not by much.

7. Our only experience with one
was at a B&B outside Durango several years ago. Seemed to heat nicely but was somewhat noisy.
Maybe yours is better on the noise side.
