Some of the songs on their other albums are very good because they are actually *about* something, at least in an abstract sense. Tonight, not so much. Also, I guess you can't see on the CDs how much their lead singer hams it up, which also detracted from the whole scene.

weekend update was the only other funny part, but even that varied from year to year.

all of the rest is so awful or ordinary or just drawn out to death... ugh...



it must be a very inexpensive show for nbc to produce. it doesn't get ratings.

I guess I haven't heard anything new from them in awhile, but my impression was that the killers were one of the only bands to come out in the last 5 or so years that DIDN'T totally suck. But I've never seen them on tv or anything - just heard a few songs.
