It sounds like you are going through this very much like I did. Caught off-guard by the announcement and feeling like 'every aspect of their being' annoys you and looking forward to them getting out of the house, out of your life.

That's exactly how I felt until my STBE moved out and I still feel like 'every aspect of her being' annoys me but it's not quiet as intense.

You know, if you have issues with someone and you really love them, you try and work them out. If you don't want to be with that person, be honest and say you don't want to be with them. but I find many divorces result from someone who thinks it is their spouse who annoys them, but it is actually a function of living with another human adult. They leave, get with someone else, put up with the same shit and someday realize they disrupted their children's lives and left their first partner for nothing new.
