Idiot driver of the month!
I just saw a really distracted driver in my rear-view mirror. He had a cell phone in one hand, his breakfast in the other and he was probably steering with his feet. The conversation must have been really good, because he was looking around and laughing his ass off...

This is normal idiocy for drivers in our area--but this guy was driving an ambulance.

1. Well, he won't have far to go when he crashes
He can just drag his mangled carcass into the back of the ambulance and start self-administering CPR.

Might you call someone at the ambulance company? His behavior is serious enough--if you can identify him (by vehicle #, time, etc.)--to warrant a call.

2. I have to go past the fire department tonight anyway
I may stop in and ask them to give a quick safety refresher at tomorrow morning's briefing. The vehicle was "Medic 1."
