3. I just watched the video about their wedding on CNN.com

It showed a very brief clip from Ellen's show, when she announced that she was getting married - and the crowd went CRAZY!!! Now i know obviously that is a group of her fans, but i still thought it was totally heartwarming. :)

Well, uh, here goes - Portia, you are my love of my life. You are like the sun to me, which pretty much makes me a big ol' clump of wet dirt, y'know? So I still wonder why you allow me to, well, make you the center of my little universe like you did, all radiant and beautiful - wow, you look so gorgeous in that dress. I never thought I'd look that good in white, myself, but here we are, two girls madly in love with each other. And dressed in white. Good thing Labor Day hasn't come around yet, isn't it? But I digress, and, uh - I guess it's because I'm nervous and excited and happy and all that because you have chosen to let little ol' me stand in your radiance, Portia, and, well, I guess I could let little critters hid out in my shadow and chew on nuts and berries and stuff - maybe I could be a tree, y'know? Branches for the birds to make nests in, a little hollowed-out place for Mr. and Mrs. Squirrel - but who am I kidding? Why can't it be Mrs. and Mrs. Squirrel, instead? Just like us? You and me? Well, more you than me, actually, because you actually gave me a shoulder on those rare occasions when I just needed to cry, and I feel all silly inside when I look into your eyes like a shy little schoolgirl that likes to crack stupid jokes in class, you know, and you're such a great kisser, and you're so confident in your own strength and independence, and I admire that about you so much, and, well, and - aw, the heck with it. I do.
