Maddy and I had recently reconciled, and were getting along great, and she was a really wonderful support to me during my bad times with my Mom's ALS. I feel bad that it ended this way, and I wish she had just taken a breather, and that this didn't happen. It's really unfortunate. Sigh.

I think it could be a good lesson for many. Judge people not just by how they threat their "friends" but how they treat others as well. Some people USE friends as allies to support them in their less than honorable activities. They are good not at being honorable people, but at deceiving the people who think of them as friends.
