The Tracey Fragments -- Spoilers wanted

[The Backlash Cometh]

This wouldn't be considered a classic film, so I'm posting here. It just came out last year and features Ellen Page. The cinematic claim to the movie is its fragmented screen style. I'm just looking for the storyline. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong: First, she loses her brother, who in all likelihood, froze to death and was taken by the river; and then days or weeks later, there was the attempted rape, where she runs from the scene wearing nothing but a shower curtain and has a breakdown on the public bus because she sits on the bus looking for her brother.

Is that right?
