3. Next time, please come to Morgantown!
That's where we live. I'd love to show you around. There's some gorgeous scenery around here. And you'll love seeing all of the Obama signs and bumper stickers, 'cause Mo-town is about the most liberal city in this half of the state.

:hi:

4. The southeastern parts are pretty special, too.
Didja know the Greenbrier River is the third cleanest in the whole nation (all due to our liberal "tree-huggin" settlers from the 'liberal' 70's)?

:7

West "by GAWD" Virginia is a beautiful state. Beautiful!!!

6. That doesn't surprise me.
My ex-boyfriend was a Greenbrier County native (his family lives in Rainelle and Rupert) and I spent a lot of time down there with them when we were going out. We went fishing and swimming in the Greenbrier River lots of times, and you could tell how clean and fresh the water was. I used to love camping by the river--sitting in the tent, watching the lightning bugs starting to dot the air, and listening to the sound of the water. Ahhh.

I saw more black bears in Greenbrier County than I had ever seen anywhere else, and I learned to hate Westvaco with a burning passion after watching the horrible clear-cutting they were doing on some of the mountains. It was truly a travesty.
