Brought a new baby (kitteh) home today!
Rescue kitty from craigslist. They said it was a boy but it is so obviously not. LOL But that's okay, we luvs her! She has little pink feets, too. And, and, and she cuddled up with me for an hour and took a nap when we got home. Awwwwww!

5. They haven't seen her.
I brought her home in a carrier and they live outside. My older cat is not amused. She just kept hissing at her, so the baby hissed back! LOL I hope she will adjust to having a little one around.

Haven't named her yet because I'm waiting to see if the DH comes up with one.

I am sure he will do well.

He was rescued and rehab'd by the same woman who rescued my little Egypt, so she knows both dogs and she made the match for me :D

They probably thought she was a boy, because almost all orange cats are males.

This one was the last of the litter. They were keeping two and I really wanted to talk her out of at least another one.

She is so incredibly socialized, too. She's a really people kitty.

Are you two together? I hope so and that you are having great quality sister time.

Hugs to both of you.

ETA: DH had her while he was trying to eat and she was trying to steal his pizza.

31. Thanx, everyone!
We've decided to name her Lina (pronounced Leena.) She is such a sweetie. She cuddled right in with us last night when we went to bed. I brought her down to use the cat box around 2 this morning when I had to go and she settle right back in until about 5 this morning when she got in my face and began licking my nose. LOL

I really hope our other cat will come around and stop hissing at her.

32. YAY!
:bounce::bounce:

Lina is a beautiful name for such a pretty girl. The other cat will come around eventually, I'm sure. How could it resist that cuteness?

Oh - and to answer your question from above - Little MB knows about Zeus and even took a print of that photo, all framed and everything, to summer camp :D sooooo cute.

I got a letter that said not to buy him a crate - she is in woodworking class and is going to build one

I told her to make birdhouses for the cardinals and robins that live in our front yard instead ;)

I've never known the joy of having a newborn human, but I know that having the joy of a kitten or puppy ain't bad, either! Enjoy yourselves as you fall in love with her. It shouldn't be hard; I just looked at her picture and I'm already in love.

43. Thanx, Malta.
That was my grandparent's bed when they were first married. I kept it for my own marriage bed.

She is a really doll baby. So well behaved and loving. Couldn't have asked for a better kitty baby.

Other parties, however, are still not taking this well at all. Ah well, take a little time, I guess.
