I spent part of Tuesday in Seattle and did not receive my complimentary Starbuck's Coffee.

What kind of operation are you people running? Get your act together if you want to make tourists feel welcome.
I would've liked to have met SeattleGirl (if she's still in Seattle- you know how nicknames can change) but I was a passenger, and couldn't choose the situations and schedule. Cheers to a lovely town and people (I remember the Elliot Bay Bookstore as being much larger for some reason).
Is it just me or is the current "in" look for men a dark fleece jacket, shorts, sneakers, and a baseball cap on backwards?
I'd expected there to be Starbuck's agents wandering the streets with tanks of caf/decaf strapped to their backs, dispensing caf to all tourists through attached coffee hoses...but I was robbed of such amenities
Washingtonians are fairly intense about their coffee. My lovely SO lives in Central Washington. There are maybe 5000 people in her area. I can think of 5 coffee places just off the top of my head. I know it's also a touristy area, but damn!
