1. Yes! I went to the store today, but forgot to get
a can of pitted olives and a package of brownie mix. I could also use shredded Monterey Jack cheese, if they have it. I went to a convenience store today, not worth a trip to the market, since I just shopped on Monday, but they only had the blocks of cheese and I don't have a cheese grater. Thanks so much! I'll be up...:hi:

I'll bring it by on the way. :hi:

5. Thanks so much! It'll save me a trip!
And my dog goes nuts when I go out and don't take him, but it's way too hot to leave him in the car, even for a few minutes. I'll be here!:hi:

And this is really my dog, Jack, who's also in my sig...:loveya: :D

16. Thanks so much! That's exactly the brownie mix that I need and
the brand of cheese I was looking for, since they have a recipe on the back that I needed. They didn't have that kind when I looked for it at my store. But I wanted black olives. I should have said. But that's okay, since my recipe calls for either. Thanks so much! It's pouring here, again, and I really didn't feel like going out...:hi::hug:

6. Yikes!
What are you making? :hi:

Oh, and to the original poster, I could use some light vanilla soy milk, I have the cheerios but it just isn't the same without milk. If you could float me for now, I could pay you on Friday. :D

10. LOL. You know me pretty well, ROFL.
I'm actually not making anything. I was planning to make "truffle brownies" for Michael, got all the ingredients to make brownies with a peanut butter and chocolate frosting, but just made the brownies and peanut butter cookies, since the fancy brownies needed to be refrigerated. And I need the cheese and olives, which I'll slice, for some "white chili" that I made yesterday. I think I'll need more for another couple of servings.:D

Since when have you been drinking soy milk? I prefer Eden Soy, since Dr. Milowe said that it doesn't have the strong soy taste, and my favorite flavor is carob...:hi:

13. I've been drinking soy for quite awhile now
I'm not a big fan of milk but I try really hard to get at least 2 servings in a day for the calcium and all and vanilla soy tastes better and is higher in calcium. I like chocolate too but vanilla can be used in other things too and you don't really taste the vanilla but it might look a little funky if I put chocolate soy milk in mashed potatoes or something like that. :puke:

I just thought it was a rather odd list, glad to hear that all those ingredients aren't going into one recipe.

19. I should probably start drinking soy milk again, too.

I don't like milk, either, only use it in the occasional recipe. I get crap when we run out of milk, both places, but I never notice because I never use it... What brand do you get? Dr. Milowe recommended Eden Soy, which I liked, any flavor, but I liked carob best. Some of the others just taste too strong.x(

I've found a new mashed potato recipe that uses cream cheese. Had it at Easter, and it was a big hit, so I found it online. I previously used Tyler Florence's which calls for melted butter and heavy cream...

And all my lists are odd, LOL, since I seem to always be missing one thing when I plan to make anything... My previous list had nose snore strips, pesto sauce, dishwashing soap and dog treats... mmmmmmm. :9

20. The Monterey Jack cheese and olives are meant to go with the chili I'm making.
It's a "white chili," made with chicken or turkey. Some of the cheese is mixed in with the meat, beans, corn and salsa, and I top it with more melted cheese, some sliced black olives, and a spoonful of sour cream. :9

As for the brownies, I made some for my friend who had a birthday last week, but plan to make more, since I wanted to try a recipe that has a peanut butter and chocolate fudge topping. I didn't have time to make that, so needed more brownie mix, and it needs to be refrigerated, according to the reviews I read. :-)

11. When I was a kid, we ran out of cereal once, and my grandpa grabbed the box of Cheese-its,
thinking it was cereal. He poured milk over it and sprinkled it with sugar, and ate it. (He was one of those types who would eat anything, so as not to waste food).

He announced later that the cheese cereal was a bit to cheesy for his taste. LOL!
