I'm extremely proud to be a Kollyforniyan today
The state of my lifelong residence is doing The Right Thing, and that makes me feel very good indeed.

7. Basically a couple fought all the way to the CA Supreme Court
and got the law against gay marriage thrown out.

8. No, I know, I mean...didn't this happen a couple of weeks ago?
I remember reading about it. Or have I finally gone and lost my damned mind completely?

16. The Cal Supreme Court
ruled that banning gay marriage violated the state constitution. And now it's legal. I've been with my lover for 18 years - does that count for nothing? I'm a citizen, too. Shouldn't I have the same rights and responsibilities as straight people? Anyway that's what it's about. So cool so many straight people support it.

Khash.
