Why can't I balance my remote on my nose?

Why can't I balance my remote on my nose?
One of my hobbies is balancing things on the bridge of my nose (yes all the cool hobbies WERE taken). I ahve a Direct TV remote and I just can't seem to get it to balance. It is really frustrating. It is almost as if it has no center at all. The back is kind of rounded but that has never been a problem before. I can do all my otehr remotes, cell phones and all kinds of things but not this goddamn remote.

Should I cancel my Direct Tv and go back to cable so I get a remote I know I can balance?
