I have battles with depression too and it always comes up when I am trying to achieve something.But I always fight it.

You told me one time that you are a Ph.D. candidate, so it sounds like you have been doing all of the right stuff to make yourself happy and successful in life. You are obviously very intelligent. So, it sounds to me like you are a victim of your own brain chemistry, unlike me who is the victim of too many LSD trips :). I know you have been going to the head shrinker and taking meds and it is apparent that that isn't working. Communicate that to the doctor and hang in there. Something positive is bound to happen.
