4. I found a beach house in NC that I love.
Except that I can't afford it. When they say "million dollar view" -- that is exactly what they mean. Add another mil or so for the actual house.

16. Oh... I see...
No, this place is a new construction. No "name" on it. It was fabulous. The view from the balcony was incredible.... omg, I could die there and think it was Heaven.

Sorry your plans fell through. NC's beaches are absolutely fabulous... big dunes, unspoiled, so clean. I love it there!

11. We go camping in the same place every year
We even got married there because it's such a special place. That's always where I want to be - except for Vermont. Anywhere in Vermont. That's home.

20. I love where I live; it's kind of like permanent camping *lol*
We are lucky enough to have a small acreage that is mostly woodland on a river. The yard ends where the woods start and we have a couple of campsites here and there, firepits, etc. I was just outside sitting by the fire and put it out a while ago...it's a lovely night and I just couldn't waste the second-to-last night of the long weekend! But if I had to be anywhere but home, northern Minnesota, specifically the Boundary Waters, would be my choice.

The boat and the beach look lovely - glad you had a good time! :hi:

21. speaking strictly selfishly: on a beach somewhere
I do love the beach.

HOWEVER:
1. with my SO in North Dakota where he is currently working
2. in AZ with our daughter, since she just moved there
3. with my 2 sisters (which I will actually get to do in 1 month!!!!)
4. on the beach with my SO, our daughter, my 2 sisters and their daughters and sons and husbands (THAT will NEVER happen, one of my brothers in law is quite phobic about traveling. )
