5. "Get The Knack" is still one of my favorite albums of all time

It ain't just "My Sharona". The whole damn record is great! This band was criminally underrated as musicians, because everyone focused on the goddamn skinny ties and the media spin that they were "the next Beatles" (which is the kiss of death for ANY band)


And it's a crime that their Carnegie Hall concert still hasn't been released on DVD :mad:

11. The real Sharona is a real estate agent in Beverly Hills, Ca.

I am forgetting her last name and too lazy to google it. I think she is doing quite well, but who knows, in this market?

1979 in a suburb of St.Louis. My friends and I got tickets to go, but then we skipped out. We were into Led Zepplin, Pink, Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc. I kind of like the beat, but something about it makes me want to jerk around in odd ways.

14. Friends of mine recorded a cover of "Good Girls Don't" for one of those...

"alternative bands cover new wave songs" compilations. However, this particular compilation was associated with Planned Parenthood. Needless to say, it was found to be "unacceptable" and their cover of "Tainted Love" made it onto the record instead.
They later released the Knack cover in Spain and titled it "Doug Feiger's Blues"
