Spending our "stimulus check" on a cruise June 2009
we are scheduled to get 1600 dollars back


we are going to put it on a cruise to be taken the day after our Daughter graduates HS next year



I love cruising and don' t care to take any other kind of vacation!!!

2. i think that is the cruise(and ship!) that we went on a few years back
i personally didn't really like the cruise thing though the trip was very fun when off the boat. i'm just not a cruise type person, but it was a very cool trip and we saw a lot of very pretty places!

4. Majasty of the Seas was the first boat we ever cruised on
I think it would be cool to go on it again


I hear it was totally refurbished...it was beautiful before...can't wait to see it again

5. Man, you all are some cruise crazy folks.
Cruises are cool, but I'd only take them to places that I'm not that interested in the ports.

12. Yeah, I've been to those spots. Not really my scene.
My favorite kind of vacation is a backpacking trip through Europe. Staying in hostels, riding on trains, speaking foreign languages with strangers.

Here's me with some cute lil' frauleins I met at Oktoberfest.

Are you going on the kind that burns bunker fuel oil leading to toxic pollution of the air, or the kind where 3/4 of the passengers come down with some unkown disease causing mass quarentining at sea, or just to visit the continent sized plastic garbage dumps in the northern Pacific? :rofl:
