It took me a week after first hearing it on Out of the Box to figure out the hook reminded me of the Banana Splits. ;)

He told me a story about a time when the dog refused to show up for work because he demanded a raise. The production was being held up, and so one of the PAs called the producer in a panic to ask him what they should do. Funny thing was that a work-buddy and I were discussing old TV shows and cartoons and he remembers the Banana Splits! I thought he was too young to remember them, but he sang that song, which I would not have remembered in a thousand years!!

Will check it out later after my poor host has departed for work!!
