I can definitely see Hal and Guy being Republicans, but John seems like he'd be a Democrat (urban and educated, as well as being into public planning, e.g. Mosaic) and Kyle seems like he'd vote Dem if be bothered to vote at all (young, aspirational, classic Obama voter).
