Cats are serious about their names...knew one silly woman who dubbed her white cat 'Fuzzy'.
OK, so she (the cat) IS kind of a longhaired kitty...but it was very obvious that 'Fuzzy' did NOT like her name...and she was, to put it mildly, a bitch on wheels. Aggressive with the other cats, and as for humans...well...Pet At Your Own Risk. :yoiks:

After the Silly Woman was out of her life, the people she'd been left with discussed changing her name and came up with 'Czarina'.
Bingo! Acceptable! Within two days, you'd swear she was a different cat; sweet, affectionate, and getting along much better with the other four cats.
She is also more sociable towards the humans...no more swiping, growling and biting...she actually LIKES attention now.
