You know how much I appreciate getting a good laugh from a clever and well-thought-out post. Well, I got more than a good laugh today, reading a series of replies to one of my posts. I don't think I've ever met "theredpen" before, but his or her series of replies in my thread from last night deserves to be enshrined as a DU classic.

Wow, this (almost) better than having as many 's as OMC.

It's hard to stand out as being particularly funny or witty in the DU crowd with all the competition. It's not like Free Republic where you can tower above the crowd, intellectually, but using complete sentences. I've been waiting for weeks for the perfect opportunity to use the "fake deleted posts" gag, so thanks for the ultimate setup, Redstone!
