Holy Crap!! We have a Winter Storm Warning for tomorrow!
Was just checking Accu-weather on my phone and saw this. So, double checked it on line. It's warm and nice out now. But tomorrow afternoon we're supposed to have "near blizzard conditions". How the hell?!
And I've scheduled visits for all afternoon tomorrow. Maybe I'll cancel 'em. Maybe not.

Okay, really going to bed now. 'Night all.

2. It sounds like it's going to be very windy.
Not a lot of snow, but enough to be a problem in 45 mph winds. I just left a message on the church voice mail telling my assistant I'm going to try to do visits in the morning, and be in the office in the afternoon. The warning kicks in at noon. I won't get as many visits done, will have to reschedule some for later in the week--some seniors have trouble getting up and about, and don't like to be visited in the morning. But this way I won't be trying to drive in that wind.

All of which means I need to hit the hay. Thanks for the  KW. You're a true friend! 'Night!

5. We have the same weather pattern here.
I can't remember how close you live to me.

I better get some dog food in the morning.

4. This winter is in the running for the WORST winter ever
Brrr. The temperature fluctuations are just surreal. I'm wondering what the wind chill is when it's below 0 with 40 mph winds. Not something I really care to find out first hand. I don't think I have to go anywhere tomorrow so I probably won't leave the house. Why the hell do I live in WI? Beats me.

6. No way.
Several years ago, for days and days, it was -30 to -40 with winds.

8. I agree. Not even close.
The winter of 2000-2001 was awful. At least it was in North Central Iowa. This has been down right pleasant in comparison.

7. Nasty weather is
headed our way too. I'm going to be on the alert this afternoon, and the first sign of freezing rain, I'm heading home from work. Temps are supposed to drop to way below zero again!

10. The Quad Cities, too. Not that far away from here.
And right now, according to Weatherbug, it's 54 degrees here. That alone is reason to expect storms!

12. We're now 49 minutes into our Winter Storm Warning
and it's 53.7 degrees, mostly sunny with 97% humidity. This is the best Winter Storm I've ever had to endure!!
