You mean like that weirdo last night with the fans and his original song? Or how about the girl who thought she sounded exactly like Mariah Carey? No, I don't feel bad for laughing, but I do feel bad for wasting my time watching.
because those folks have the guts to do what the rest of us are too chicken to even try. I haven't watched it recently.
It also reminds me of when a friend of mine was laughing at guys who were dancing in a club. The two of us were standing in a corner like pathetic losers and he was cutting apart guys who were out on the floor doing no harm to anyone. I felt pretty shitty, especially when some of the guys on the floor were getting positive attention from the women.
the day they do a talent show where the singers write their own songs, perhaps performing them on their own instruments - then I'll have respect for that show!
8. I find the reject segments to be pretty mean-spirited....
but it's not like they didn't stand in line for many, many hours knowing full-well that they very likely would be ridiculed.
But I don't watch the show closely enough to really laugh at anyone... I'll hear it while I'm in the kitchen and think "who told that person they could sing?"
