2. Vangelis has had a long recording career
I don't believe he should be characterized as a "one hit wonder". I think the first Vangelis record (as in those big vinyl things with grooves) was 666, which think is from around 1970.

Man, I really wasn't listening to the radio at this point (or was only listing to WTUL-FM at Tulane University and mabye the WRNO-FM classic rock station, cause only 99-Luftballoons even rings a bell.

3. I was going by the Billboard pop top forty...
...which Vangelis only ever made once.

And I'm fully aware that "one-hit wonder" is a term that you have to use with some caution. ;-)
