Wiley's back
Jesus was that storm a bad one. Camping out in large parking lot of a hospital (great place to avoid vagrancy bullshit) the Thursday night winter storm came off the Pacific and nearly rocked my truck camper to another spot.

That was my first night among the technically "Homeless" or "Vehicularly housed". He hee hee hee.

Me and the dog have done it before. Kinda like it actually. No nasty landlords and expensive gas and electric bills etc.

The main problem of course being "Les Gendarmes".

Homelessness is considered a crime. San Francisco may vote Democratic but the people here live Republican.

I wouldn't give you two cents for Gavin Newsom. A rich man's son who never worked a real job in his life.

This ain't the city I once knew. Where I had a steady job, full benefits and could pay the rent with just a regular job. These days even a licensed contractor I can't get even twenty dollars an hour with my 25 years experience as a plumber. Immigrants having reduced earnings to a pittance.

Disagree? I lived HERE when things were working. Or at least good to livable. Now it's trust funders and Pacific Ring money that bought everything up.

Sleep in your car at night? Go to jail. I've never pan handled and never will, but they've outlawed that in most places too.

Some Democrats...

But seriously: Fuck the system! Abbie Hoffman was right. You can live better when you drop out. I'm happier. Think the dogs like it thgis way too.

If you remember my last post describing my plan to drop out? Well the hard part was dumnping my wastrel of a room mate who drove me into debt after free loading for a full year.

A tenant can't evist a room mate without a lease agreement. So either i moved out or risked having the nasty republican landlord write a new contract. She'd surely have raised the rent. One of those biatches witha "Democrats are terrorists" bumper sticker.

Glad as hell she ain't gettin my monthly rent any more.

Hallelujah I'm a bum...

4. Yeah that is the correct thought
For others the concept of so called "Homelessness" is a "tragedy".

I say having an asshole landlord (human leeches is what they are) is a far worse condition than living out of an RV. Just today have found plenty of free eats. A few churches that serve food every day. Amazing. Abbie Hoffman was right: FUCK THE SYSTEM.

G/A in S/F is slow as hell and my unemployment claim seems bogged down in perpetual red tape. truth be told the lateness of my unemployment claim is more the cause for the scenery change than voluntary choice. I'd have done it sooner anyway, but the timing was better this way. As are a lot of changes we make due to some external element forcing the issue.

But it was a good idea to get out of the creature comfort of delusional "security".

Besides my landlord being a vomit inducing republican (aren't they all?) my room mate was near pure trash too. I paid all the major bills for over a year. Hers too as she refused to look for work. Unbelievable.

So had the Unemployment claim actually gone through in a timely manner I might not have made this move for the better.

A year or two of this and the money will pile off and I can move down to where my acreage parcel is. Then stay there the rest of my days.

3. I hope you can build a stable, safe life that you enjoy.
Please don't get lost on the street.

I was homeless for a short while, many years ago. I know that it's very easy to spiral down and lose your chance of getting back.
