2. Would it kill you to delete the sponsor names from your post?
Damnit, it's the Sugar Bowl, the Cotton Bowl and Gator Bowl.

Sure, for some stupid reason the media toes the Korporate line but can't we do better than that here at DU?

7. The Citrus will always be the Tangerine to me
That's actually the only bowl game I attended.

I watched Wake Forest get stomped by LSU back in 1979

9. The score of that game was 34-10.
I grew up in Pasadena...Never got tickets. We played our high school rivalry game in the Rose Bowl though. Muir High School has produced such fine graduates as Sirhan Sirhan.

10. Well, Arkansas finally did score....
Thank goodness we didn't hire this guy as our new head coach. Let's just take our ass-kicking from Mizzou and send him on his way.

16. Nutt is a screamer...
Screamers generally don't win because what recruit wants to play for a jackass from a mid-level college.

17. Nutt didn't win
because he insisted on running his own offensive scheme. Trouble was, he didn't know what the hell he was doing. The Tecmo Bowl offense he ran would be stuffed by half the high schools in Arkansas.

13. Wow...Citrus Bowl is lively!
Lots of back n forth, and excitement in the Red Zone. In the past five minutes: a touchdown called back for penalty, a blocked FG, some long exciting running plays, and unexpected goal-to-go turnovers.

5 minutes left in the first half, 14-14.

in here in the 'puter room, hubby (UVA grad) is in the LR gloating over the Tech fumble. He keeps saying there is no way UVA can win. I say Tech will think up new and creative ways to lose.

Edit: there is no 'n' in fumble.

20. Was at the Armed Forces Bowl yesterday with the kids
Air Force lost, but it was still a good game, right down to the wire. Gotta hand it to Cal, once they got their passing game going, they were awesome. Will post some pics in another thread.
