Sometimes I wish the people in my town would just shut up
~sigh~

See my reply #83. I DO think its cool that someone has suggested this - its a good gesture and eye-catching but why does it have to be MY hometown? Christ, we had so many people flock there after the "public nudity" debacle - I'm sorry but one thing I love about my home is that there are very few people. We don't need to import them.

And its not that I don't want the people of my town to be a part of earthshaking events but the truth is, whenever you are, you become a destination. I don't want my little town to be destination. Because then it won't be my little town anymore. :(

1. Yeah, Bratt's not big enough to hold em!
Those narrow streets! I used to hate driving there when I first got my license. Harmony parking lot, w00t!

2. In 38 years of living in Bratt
I probably found a space in Harmony lot about 3 times.

It just floors me the perception that people get of Brattleboro from the media. You'd think they'd remember that this is the media they don't trust. :eyes:

It IS a great place but it's not what people seem to think it is.

3. Ha! Exactly!
I always park down on Flat St or the little lot there. I've gotten screwed in the Harmony lot in snow season too many times!

I totally hear you. It's just not how they make it out to be. A great town though, for sure. My brother got a Sam's gift card for Christmas....lucky guy. Free popcorn while you shop! :bounce:

4. Shhhhhhh......
If people know about the free popcorn, it will be all over. Especially Loungers - you KNOW how they feel about popcorn.
