1. Yeah, my snow guy left a while ago, too.

I love this man, I really do.

He calls my cell phone this morning at about 8:30 and says, "Hey, Laura, I'm down the street at Dianne's and I'm about done. Did you want me to come dig you out yet?" Not only does he plow out my drive but he also scoops my walk and digs a path to the cars. If we know in advance it is gonna be a bad storm he'll even call me ahead of time. I just leave him a check in the mailbox.

Since Kevsand had his heart attack a couple of years ago snow removal is potentially kind of problematic for us. Kev wants to do it, and it becomes a hassle every time. If Darren has already done it then it isn't a big deal and everybody stays happy.

I sent him over to dig out my parents' house next...

I have no off-street parking, and live in a "state route" so the ginormous county trucks pack me in even worse. Add to that fibromyalgia and asthma, both of which wake up kicking and SCREAMING when I'm required to dig out - a task usually never accomplished "all at once" and instead requires multiple rests between shoveling .....

Your subject line is EXACTLY how I feel when on occasion someone sees me out there and stops, helps get my car out of the way, and plows in front of the house out for me. :rofl:
