16. Don't forget a dash of cayenne and...
a few drops of vanilla and/or almond.

Really-- cayenne pepper. Not so much you can taste it, though.

I usually boil some water to dissolve the cocoa powder before adding the milk. And don't forget the mini marshmallows.

8. Wraping tips!
http://festivals.iloveindia.com/christmas/christmas-crafts/gift-wrap-ideas.html

* Before wrapping hands, keep all things near you beforehand, so you don't have to run looking for them every now and then. These include scissors, nametags, glue gun, decorative items, gifts, hole punch and wrapping paper.
* Instead of Christmas themed gift wraps, you can use, plain red, silver or white paper with red or green metallic ribbons. They are more versatile and can be used later too.
* You can put assortment of candies or small toys in a clear or printed cellophane bags and twist tie them or tie them with a ribbon as Christmas party favor for kids.
* Buy colored tissue paper in bulk for Christmas gift wrapping as it can be used as gift paper or lining gift boxes that store fragile items.
* Glue stickers, pictures from old Christmas cards, artificial beads, candies, greens, pine cones, berries or confetti on any plain gift bag or make drawing on them for the personalized gift pack. Real pressed flowers and leaves look quite sophisticated too.
* You can use fancy tags or small greeting cards as tags. Stick-on types are better as they don't come off so easily.
* You can make your own gift tag in shape of a Christmas tree, a heart or a star or any shape you desire from a thick sheet of paper and stick it using glue.

12. Cool! They'll finally have a worthy target for the new missile defense system.

It's about time someone put a stop to Claus coming and going as he pleases. He's an illegal immigrant, people! Have you seen his Green Card? Neither has anyone else. So what the hell is he doing here?

He's also a corporate stooge. If Santa and his elves make all the toys at the North Pole, how come the toys say "Mattel," "Hasbro," and "Fisher Price" on them? Well? I'm waiting. Let me float a couple of possibilities.

(1) Santa is just an offshore manufacturer and distributor for Big Toy. His faux-cutsie little "North Pole" operation (read: China) costs American jobs and exploits foreign elven labor.

(2) Santa is a pirate, making shoddy goods and passing them off as major brands. This puts our children in danger.

Take your pick.

So, let's recap. Santa is an illegal alien who annually invades American airspace (and no doubt without a pilot's license or FAA certification of his sleigh), distributing anti-union and/or shoddy toys to our children. Did I mention that his reindeer are genetically modified?

So come on, NORAD, make sure you don't miss this year!

Merry Christmas indeed. Bah humbug!

33. Typical gov't corruption.
Edited on Thu Nov-29-07 03:11 PM by Kutjara
Big Toy pays off the FAA to "approve" Santa's sleigh. It's the same old story: a few hands get greased and any old rickety contraption is suddenly "airworthy." What's it gonna take before people wake up? A whole neighborhood wiped out and reindeer parts hanging from the trees?!?!

And what about Rudolph's nose? What do you think makes that glow? Too much eggnog? It's radioactive, for Chrissakes!!! How the holy hell did Claus get FAA approval to transport unshielded fissionable material across American airspace? Huh? Huh?

Face it, Santa commits enough crimes every year to get him waterboarded in Gitmo for the rest of his days. Yet we let it slide every damned time.

The conspiracy runs very deep.

21. You forgot about the fact that he is a serial burgular
breaking into homes sans chimneys. And if you don't have a fireplace the bastage finds an open window or door. And if that doesn't work he just walks through the god damn wall. What the heck?

If not there in the room, then he won't take anything, yet he will still leave presents.

Though the commercialization of Christmas can get pretty sickening at times, I have to say that holiday lights everywhere are the one thing that says "Christmas". Combined with snow and holiday music, I'm dialed in! :hi:
