Can't log on from work anymore, so I can hardly come by here anymore.

1. oh - the usual . . .
flirting, flame wars, name calling, pic threads, threats to leave, obscure "in" jokes, obscure "out" jokes, lolcats, dramatic goodbyes, youtube, heartwrenching episodes, and pearls of wisdom.

Not necessarily in that order.

I passed the Swiss driver's exam today. I now have both US and Swiss driver's licenses. :bounce:

6. Swiss exam was more difficult by _far_.
I couldn't even begin to tell you. I took eight driving lessons to prepare for it because the difficulty of the practical driving exam is legendary. Thank goodness I didn't fail, though. If I had failed, I would have been required to take both the written exam (which can have up to 600 questions) and the practical driving test, both in Italian. :scared: Today's driving exam was a nice, comfortable mix of English, Italian and German, and I had a very, very nice examiner. :WHEW:

The great thing, EP, is now that I have the Swiss driver's license, I have it for _life_. :bounce:

I was sooooooooooooo scared, but it turned out that the driving examination wasn't a bad experience at all. I had been very well prepared by my excellent driving "maestro" and I lucked into getting a very kind examiner. :)
