Actually, it's my Lamont sticker over my Kerry/Edwards 04 sticker, so there are two.

Is Goo Gone good for this job?

I hate to take them off, but I'm getting alittle self conscious. Most, but not all, Lamont supporters have taken their off here in the New Haven, CT area.

2. Never tried this
but i was told that using a blow-dryer on HOT will take it off. Just get the whole thing good and toasty and supposedly it'll pull right off!

If it leaves residual stickiness then Goo-Gone is probably a good bet.

Gotta make space for '08, LOL! :hi:

6. Chainsaw.
Failing that, a circular saw might work.

15. I still left it open for someone to suggest a jigsaw or a blowtorch. :)
Failing that... well, there's always C4.

That aughtta get the damn thing off.

7. Mayonnaise
or other oil based liquids. Thinner solvents like acetone or lacquer thinner will just dissolve the glue and smear it around until the solvent evaporates and leave a messy residue behind.

9. Coca Cola & steel wool.
And a torch.

-Truthfully, the Goo Gone will probably work. Check it on a painted surface that people can't see first, like under the bumper or inside the door itself. It'll take a good measure of rubbing to get all the glue off, but don't use any abrasives: maybe just an old T-shirt and nothing harder than your own fingernail to scrape the rest of the shit off. Then wipe it down again with some dish detergent and another old T-shirt. Repeat as necessary.

13. Goo Gone or Oops! will work fine, but

you can do it cheaper with lighter fluid. Scrape off the top layer with a utility blade, and a bit of lighter fluid on an old rag will dissolve the sticky stuff.

Ronsonol finally started putting this on their bottles a few years ago, after many of us DIYers figured it out ages earlier.
