OMG I just found
half of a cat in my yard down by the lake! A black cat. I thought I heard the eagle earlier but I didn't think they went after cats? We also have otters but I don't think they could catch a cat. All that was left was its head, front arms and part of the rib cage. I haven't seen my yellow cat Scrapy all day. I am out to search for her. Holy Moly.

4. I suspect your buddies are hiding in the underbrush and will be
home soon. Whatever bird nabbed the other cat is probably still full.

5. I hope so.
Hubby and I are going out again to search for them in a minute. It is not like them to be gone all day.

Hopefully your kitty is just hiding because she is still frightened. Good luck!

6. We searched
and no luck. Both were ferral cats when they showed up years ago and are pretty feisty. One usually comes in at dark and the other is usually under my feet both inside and outside all day long. She follows me like a puppy. Neither are anywhere to be found. I am beside myself.

7. I am so sorry.
:(

I hope you find your cat safe and sound. I hope she just ran and hid somewhere, and comes home sometime soon.

8. Coyotes love cat.
Every time we have dry winter, their natural prey of here (ground squirrels) become scarce so the coyotes forage in the neighborhoods. Bad time for cats and small dogs.
