1. Out of those three choices I chose the Netherlands.
However in reality I'm either happy here in NC or back in the UK.

I'd have to learn Dutch but it can't be that far removed from German, which I can understand a bit of.

3. Assuming the US was gone?
Because I've been to all three of those, and you couldn't pay me to live in any of 'em. (But then, you couldn't pay me to live in 26 of the other 27 countries I've visited, either.) Put Thailand on the list and we might have something to talk about.....

I don't speak a word of Dutch, and my French is limited to "Guy Lafleur" and "Patrice Bergeron", so I guess I'd have to say Canada by default.

Besides, is Canada really a country? Isn't Alberta just Texas with snow?

so put a warm country there
