My friend has a crush on me.
I don't have one back. I don't like anyone. He's a great guy (Funny as John Stewart and smart as a well-trained physicist) but I have no romantic feelings for him whatsoever. I don't want to ruin our friendship.

1. Shit..do you feel confident enough that your friendship won't be ruined
if you told him how you felt? Either way, that's a tough one. How long have you known him?

2. I've known the guy on and off for four years (we went to the same middle school)
but lately we've been in the same classes, and have been spending much more time with each-other.

I don't know how to tell him. I'm going to just let it pass over and try not to increase this crush at all.

3. Ah... A story I know very well...
Of course I've been the one with the crush on the friend, and the friend not having any romantic interest in me and not wanting to ruin the friendship... Ah yes! A familiar story!

5. That's usually how it is with me.
 this isn't the first time that there's been an attraction from a friend, but that time I liked him but broke his heart. :( And now i'm terrified of doing it all over again.

4. It won't.
There's one thing I've learned and that's if you're actually friends and he's not a childish wank, you can remain friends. I've been on both sides of the scenario and both suck, but it's not the end of the world.

6. Yeah....
highschool can get to people. :) The situation does suck... I'm just worried about hurting him. I've been hurt because of the same situation and it turned me away from a friend for a few months.

I've remained really good friends with most of the girls I've been in that scenario with.

9. Thanks for this.
I guess that your post means that a 51 year old man can be a childish wank. :D
