Help needed:Question about Windows Live Hotmail.

I'm still using the "classic" Hotmail and they insist that I upgrade to Windows Live Hotmail.

If I do will I lose all my old received E-Mails ? That's the only thing that keeps me from upgrading.

i'm thinking about dumping it altogether.

they tried real hard to make it like gmail...and completely and totally failed. it's a train wreck now.
