It's gotta be her idea!
Whenever she gets wet food or treats she will turn her nose up at it until I walk away and turn my back on her. Because, it's gotta be her idea!!

1. Well, of course!
Cats can't have filthy humans governing their lives, now, can they? :P My Phoenix will only let you pet him when HE wants the attention, etc. :eyes: Cats. :hi:

3. He really is
an adorable little bastard...which makes it even more difficult not to just pick him up and cuddle him. :D However, his sharp teeth and back claws are an effective deterrent. :eyes: :P :hi:

9. None of my cats like to be picked up.
I used to have a cat that would start licking your face when you picked him up.

10. Neither of mine like it, either - they just have different ways of expressing it, lol.
Phoenix will kick, hiss, and bite; my other cat, Isabel, will squall like she's being disemboweled. :eyes:

11. Daniel will claw
Barney wiggles and cries. Morrison is too big to pick up.

4. As soon as my cats hear the can opener, it's their idea.
And they're right there insisting that I must be opening something for them. :P

5. When I was a kid, that's how we herded 'em.
Because we usually had 3 to 5 cats and they were indoor/outdoor cats with full run of the house and cellar, it was sometimes difficult to do a head check before the humans shut off the lights for the night. Pavlov's dog wasn't trained as well as those cats. :-)

6. I think we love cats so much because they play hard to get.
You always want what you can't have.
