I'm writing a test. Help me come up with questions.
Please feel free to be snarky and sarcastic. 7th graders respond well to that. :eyes:

Vocab words:

geology
geometry
geography
geophysics
geocentric
chasm
chaos
chaotic
Uranus
uranium
inevitable
infinite
immortal
wretch
compassion
agile
reign

I'm also testing on proper capitalization and, perhaps most relevant to DU, making a persuasive argument.

You're on!

I'd use your question, but I think I'd be asking for trouble....

23. Something funny from a sad time.....
When my mother was in the throes of Alzheimer's, it wasn't uncommon for her to make some embarassing remarks in public. One of my cats is named Amos. Our cats are indoor-outdoor cats, so we're always calling them to come inside. One day, my mother stood on our back porch and yelled, at the top of her lungs; "ANUS"! "ANUS"!

college students in math. Everything I make there is profit.... Does that count?

I'd do the teaching high school thing but that would mean going back to school (:puke:) for my certification.

15. Okay. Some questions you may actually be able to use:
- Use three of the above words in a sentence.
- Which word could describe the size of the Universe?
- Which word on the list is the root word for chaotic?
- When should the words "geology", "geometry", "geography" and "geophysics" be capitalized?
- To live forever is to be __________.
- It is __________ that __________ will _____________ supreme when Mr. Finnfan leaves the room.

20. A student of geology, who had trouble with geometry,, and more disturbingly
trouble with geography, found himself doomed. Because of his troubles with the above, he did not need a lack of understanding of geophysics to make him aware that he was not geocentric enough to guide himself to the specific chasm where he intended to attempt to sort through the chaos of geologic deposits and try to determine if, in the chaotic past, there might have been (for example) meteorites spun off from such outer planets as Uranus, possibly carrying elements of Uranium, that may have inevitably found their way to Earth (given that nothing is either inevitable or discountable in this infinitie Universe)...such elements as Uranium being essentially immortal (even though the more accurate term would be "Immutable"), given their long half-lives, and therefore detectable through such long ages as to render the wretch who first proposed their detectability in cosmic debris to be laughable to anyone who had not enough compassion to understand that the life of a single searcher of the cosmos to be such a lonely one, a life that requires such an astonishing amount of compassion to truly understand that only a person who posseses an agile and compassionate wit of the type we rarely see these days, can truly grasp the importance of their discovery of that same intelligence. However, if they DO manage to grasp the importance of that discovery, they may reign for decades as a force to be dealt with in the scientific journals.

...All in one paragraph, and I'm an old guy who never went to college.

Too easy.

25. A couple more:
The evil king's __________ ended when he was killed by a meteorite, proving that he was not __________, and thus not a vampire after all.

In a complete sentence, tell me whether our solar system is geocentric, and include the planet on the vocab list in your answer.

Explain (in complete sentences) whether or not I should feel compassion for a wretch.
