Do you have a memory box?
You know a box you keep certain artifacts from your past in?
Photos, letters, trinkets etc..

I ask because I went through one this weekend and found some poetry i wrote in 1987-1988.
It was terrible..I couldn't write my way out of a paper bag.
Made me want to burn it..But i can't
Second question..Why does old shit smell like hell?
What the fu_k is that weird stench..

1. Sure

I think it is technically called a skull, but if you prefer memory box, go for it!

Most of my life mementos are haphazardly scattered about here and there, quite a bit like my thoughts. I figure one day I will get around to organizing one or the other, or both of them...

3. My skull is an old amunition box
The stuff inside is really worthless.
Just memories and old pictures.

Mostly mail I stole from this girl that I had a crush on in the late 90's. And some trinkets from a trip to Europe.

14. It's from Thomas Harris's
book "Hannibal" --- I have read them all -- but Hannibal is the best --- Dr. Lector takes on a lovely patina...

6. I have many of them
Funny you should mention it because I've been cleaning and finding a lot of those things. Some of which I'd forgotten I had. Which is always fun. :hi:

10. Maybe someday I'll consolidate
Right now, I still have stuff in a storage unit in Vermont that I've been paying for for 8 years. Included in that is at least one box of rocks.

They're special rocks, though. :P

12. I have rocks
lots of them that my Mom picked up
every time we went to the cemetery in NY state.....
We went to the cemetery at least 3 times a year...
for as long as I can remember...
Before she died she told me not to throw them away but to use them in my garden....

so I still have a huge metal container( I think it was a garbage can) of rocks that must weigh a ton....

:hi:

lost

8. Yuppers
Photos, cards, school medals, etc. etc. It's great fun to go through and see what was important to me at the time (and still is).

11. We have a memory box for my brother who died 11 years ago.
In it we keep all of the cards, letters, pictures, newspaper articles, etc. that we received when he died!

I really need to go through it. I haven't been through it in a while.

I keep my stuff in a tin box I got for Christmas... dunno how long ago. My sister visited not too long ago and was scocked to see I still had it, though.
